From a kitchen table to a corner shop
It began with a question: why do good donuts feel so hard to find? We tried recipes, failed at recipes, tried again. We learned that the difference between good and great lives in the details — how long the dough rests, the temperature of the oil, the timing of the glaze.
Word spread slowly in Denton. A friend brought a friend. Someone posted a photo online. Before we knew it, we were turning away customers on weekends because we simply couldn't make enough.
So we opened Red Donut Shop. Not because we wanted to be a business — because we wanted to be a place. A place where the coffee is poured with care, where the donuts are warm when you arrive, and where you're known by name.
